From parking lot to a brand-new milestone!

We are incredibly proud to highlight our land surveying work on this fantastic new construction project! Last Friday KSU’s Marietta Southern Polytechnic campus celebrated their ribbon cutting of their new student competition team space, the Hornet Hub building. “Hornet” in honor of Southern Poly’s mascot Sting.

These teams collaborate on such projects as the KSU Motorsports, Night Owl Racing, the Aerial Robotics Competition Team, and the Hydraulic Bike Team, among others. The ceremony included a facility tour and a drone show highlighting the innovative spirit this new space supports.

A huge thank you to the developers, contractors, and engineers who partnered with us on this build. It takes a village to shape our community, and we love being the ones who set the first lines!

GeoSurvey is pleased to announce an important leadership transition effective September 8, 2026.

After serving as Chief Executive Officer for the last five years, Bradley Cash will be stepping down from the CEO role to return to his core professional passion: hands-on project execution and direct client collaboration. We are excited that Brad will continue to bring his extensive executive experience and industry expertise to our clients and team in his new role as Senior Project Manager.

Stepping into the role of Chief Executive Officer is Gene Etris, who currently serves as a Senior Project Manager at GeoSurvey. Throughout his 27 years with the company, Gene has demonstrated exceptional operational leadership, a deep understanding of our clients and their needs, and a strong commitment to our people and long-term vision.

Because this transition draws on the strength and talent of our existing team, our day-to-day services, contracts, and operations will continue without interruption. This seamless evolution reflects the depth of leadership within GeoSurvey and our commitment to providing consistent, high-quality service to our clients and partners.

We are proud to celebrate this next chapter for GeoSurvey and look forward to continuing our strong partnerships with our employees, clients, and vendors.

Please join us in congratulating Gene on his new role and wishing Brad continued success as he returns to the project work and client relationships he is so passionate about.

Congratulations to Gene and thank you Brad for your wonderful leadership over the last 5 years!

We had a great time cheering on the Braves with our incredible team and their families! The heart of our success is in all the folks that make up GeoSurvey, in and out of the office. Thank you to the entire team for your commitment and continued hard work!  Together we do great things!

We believe that continuous learning is key to success. Our most recent fieldwork training focused on shot strategies and obtaining locations for Topographic and As-Built surveys. Thank you to our team for your continued commitment to excellence!

Gathering our list, and checking it twice! We shopped ‘til we dropped with our employee donations in support of Clark’s Christmas Kids this weekend. We love supporting this wonderful cause to ensure all of Georgia’s foster care children receive a gift at Christmas. Thank you to all our wonderful Geo employees for your generosity and making this Christmas a little brighter for Georgia’s foster kids!

Wishing everyone a jolly holiday from GeoSurvey!

The holiday season is upon us – a time filled with festive cheer, joyful celebrations, and moments of gratitude. As we prepare to wrap up this year, we have so many things to be thankful for and memories to look back on. We had a blast celebrating this year’s hard work with our GeoSurvey family last week as we all gathered for our annual holiday party.

We’d also like to give big congratulations to our founders, Trent Turk and Jamey Coleman, on their much-deserved retirement from Geo! It’s been an honor and a privilege working with you both. We’re going to miss you!

To all our family, friends & clients – May your holidays sparkle with moments of love, laughter, and goodwill!

As we celebrate the new year, we want to thank everyone who has made 2024 a success for GeoSurvey, Ltd. Thank you from all of us. We wish you and yours a successful 2025 and will see you after the holiday! Our office will be closed on January 1, 2025, in observance of the New Year.

We hope your holiday season is full of light and laughter!

To honor the season of giving, GeoSurvey, Ltd. will be giving back in the hopes of bringing the sound of sleigh bells to Georgia’s foster children this year.
