The holiday season is upon us – a time filled with festive cheer, joyful celebrations, and moments of gratitude. As we prepare to wrap up this year, we have so many things to be thankful for and memories to look back on. We had a blast celebrating this year’s hard work with our GeoSurvey family last week as we all gathered for our annual holiday party.

We’d also like to give big congratulations to our founders, Trent Turk and Jamey Coleman, on their much-deserved retirement from Geo! It’s been an honor and a privilege working with you both. We’re going to miss you!

To honor the season of giving, GeoSurvey, Ltd. will be giving back in the hopes of bringing the sound of sleigh bells to Georgia’s foster children this year. With funds raised by our employees, we will be shopping to support Clark’s Christmas Kids for the third year in a row. Clark’s Kids provides gifts to Georgia’s foster children each year.

Chalktoberfest 2024

Earlier this month, GeoSurvey assisted in the layout of the artwork areas for Marietta’s Chalktoberfest. This event hosts artists from around the globe as they transform the streets of the Marietta Square into stunning chalk masterpieces. 14^th Annual Pumpkin Launch at KSU

Pumpkins soaring through the air in the name of science! GeoSurvey is a proud sponsor of Kennesaw State University’s Annual Pumpkin Launch. Held at the Marietta Campus, competing teams of engineering students construct launching devices to see who can hurdle pumpkins the farthest distance! GeoSurvey assisted in measuring the catapulted distance of the pumpkins across the Soccer field.  Congratulations to the Pumpkin Space Program Team who won first place with their 270 foot launch!

Fall is in the air! As we say goodbye to summer, we take time to refresh, celebrate our accomplishments, and hone our craft at the GeoSurvey annual fall retreat. Congratulations to this year’s Survey Rodeo winners: Trent Parham and Tanner McBee!

GeoSurvey would like to congratulate one of its own, Ethan Pepin, for passing the Georgia Fundamentals of Surveying exam! Way to go Ethan, what a great accomplishment!

Congratulations to GeoSurvey project manager Ryan Snyder! He’s proven that lightning can strike twice, taking home First Place in SAMSOG’s 2024 Plat Competition for a SECOND YEAR in a row! We are truly proud of our team and their continued efforts towards excellence. Way to go, Ryan! You earned it!
