David Hester, LS

David Hester is a partner in the firm and the COO of GeoSurvey, having begun his land surveying career with GeoSurvey in 1997 after graduating from Kennesaw State University.  His career with GeoSurvey has included working in every role related to land surveying, ultimately working as a Survey Project Manager, and now as COO and principal for the firm.   He oversees the management of all daily production activities of the company, including assisting project managers with crew scheduling and quality control.  He handles client contact and proposals for much of the incoming work for the company.  He also manages ongoing land surveying projects for GeoSurvey, leveraging his extensive background and experience in ALTA/ACSM land title surveys, boundary and topographic surveys, as well as the preparation of legal documentation and title reports for real estate transactions.

David is registered in Georgia as a Professional Land Surveyor and attended Southern Polytechnic State University for his land surveying course work after obtaining his B.S. from Kennesaw State University.  He is an active member of The Surveying and Mapping Society of GA, frequently visiting local schools demonstrating land surveying as a career option for young students.  He is an Eagle Scout, and dedicates much of his spare time to leading Boy Scouts as an assistant Scoutmaster.
