GeoSurvey CEO Named KSU Distinguished Alumni 2019

Trenton D. Turk, CEO of GeoSurvey, Ltd., was recently named Kennesaw State University Distinguished Alumni for 2019 by the KSU Alumni Association.

Mr. Turk graduated from Southern Polytechnic State University (now merged with KSU) in 1986 with a degree in Civil Engineering Technology and minor in Land Surveying. Since his graduation, he has remained involved with is Alma mater, serving in various volunteer capacities. He has remained connected to his degree program by volunteering as an adviser for the program. He served on the Southern Polytechnic State University Foundation in many capacities, ultimately as chairman of the foundation during the merger with Kennesaw State University. Upon the foundation’s merger with KSU, he joined the Kennesaw State University Foundation, serving as chairman of the Economic Development Committee. He is currently the Vice Chair of the foundation, and will serve as Chairman of the KSU Foundation for two years beginning in 2020.

Turk and his wife, LaSona, recently endowed a new scholarship at Kennesaw State University benefiting the College of the Arts. GeoSurvey, Ltd., also has an endowed scholarship at KSU benefiting the land surveying degree program.
