If your position involves performing field work, you will be provided with the very best equipment available on the market today to perform your tasks. You will operate Trimble S series robotic instruments and controllers and Trimble GPS equipment. You will run your setup out of a late model 4wd full sized pickup and aluminum work box. You’ll be provided appropriate apparel to look professional and you’ll be trained in areas that you need to be trained in. We will stand behind you and provide you with the resources and training you need to get the job done.
If your position is back in the office, you will also be provided the latest available technology to get your job done quickly and efficiently. We operate the latest versions of AutoCad and Carlson software, along with a full suite of appropriate supporting software packages. You’ll have a multiple screen fast computer connected to our office network. You’ll be trained in the “Geo Way” of preparing our land surveys for delivery to clients and providing support after the delivery.
The owners of GeoSurvey believe strongly in ongoing training for our employees. We provide routine field crew and office staff meetings for training purposes related to our software and hardware, along with new technologies and techniques.

CONSTRUCTION SURVEY FIELD TECHNICIAN
GeoSurvey is seeking qualified applicants for our construction survey field technician position. LSIT or equivalent experience preferred. This position involved the analysis and interpretation of engineering construction documents used to to construct new facilities. You will work closely with a staff land surveyor and with site superintendents on construction sites, placing stakes and other points on the ground that will be utilized for the construction of new buildings, drainage structures, and other facilities. Experience working on construction sites, analyzing construction plans, creating data points, marking construction stakes, and communicating with site superintendents are all desirable capabilities of this position. You will also gain experience performing other types or surveys, such as ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Topographic and As-built surveys. You will work under the direction of one of our Survey Project Mangers on a day-to-day basis.
SURVEY FIELD TECHNICIAN
GeoSurvey is seeking qualified applicants for our land surveyor field technician position. LSIT or equivalent experience preferred. You’ll be assigned to high-profile projects that will challenge your abilities and expand your potential. Experience with ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Topographic and As-built surveys and other types of surveys is beneficial. Construction layout capabilities also a plus. Our Survey Field Technicians (Crew Leaders) are responsible for all aspect of land surveying field work, including data collection, field data analysis, etc. We utilize Trimble robotic total stations and Trimble controllers, along with a full suite of related newer equipment. You will most often work with a technician assistant and will under the direction of one of our Survey Project Mangers on a day-to-day basis.
SURVEY FIELD TECHNICIAN ASSISTANT
This is an entry level position with GeoSurvey. Working in this position, you will be trained in the operation of all field equipment, data collection procedures, and equipment maintenance and proper land surveying procedures. You will be responsible for various tasks related to land surveying, such as preparing field sketches, recovering property corners, trimming and clearing brush, and maintaining a vehicle with supplies. You should gradually learn the skills necessary to become a Survey Field Technician in this position.
